UPDATE by the City of Uvalde:

The location for counseling services has changed. Over the three-day weekend, anyone needing support is encouraged to contact the Mental Health & Developmental Disabilities Center (MHDD) at 888-690-0799, or Family Services Association at 210-563-8988.

Counseling Services for the community are available on www.ucisd.net, Counseling Resources Available to Assist Families.

We encourage you to continue monitoring your child and seek support if you notice changes in their behavior.

Counseling services are available at SSGT Willie De Leon Civic Center Thursday and Friday (May 26-27) from 9a to 5p.

From Uvalde Memorial Hospital:

Optum is offering a free emotional-support help line for all people impacted. This help line will be open for two weeks. The company’s public toll-free help line number, 866-447-3573, is available Monday through Friday 8AM – 8PM.

This service is free of charge and open to anyone. Specially trained Optum mental health specialists help people manage their stress and anxiety so they can continue to address their everyday needs.

Callers may also receive referrals to community resources to help them with specific concerns, including financial and legal matters.

All funeral services, plots, and headstones have been paid in full for those who lost their lives at Robb Elementary. 

Contact Jennifer Potter at (830) 278-6616 to make arrangements for burial services.

A Family Assistance Center has been established at the Uvalde County Fairplex. It will be open daily from 9a - 5p until June 1.

First Responder Resources

First responders in uniform receive a free coffee in any of our Minits stores. 

Drive through lunch available for first responders including medical, fire, law enforcement, etc. May 28 at 11a at the SWTJC campus Admin building.
